William Bernard Connor

William Bernard Connor, 88, of Hickory passed away on June 11, 2024 at Trinity Ridge in Hickory. Born November 7, 1935 in Doleville, NY, he was the son of the late Raymond Connor and Jean Murphy Connor. A member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Hickory, he retired as a project manager with General Electric.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Yvonne Marie Connor;daughter, Kathy Connor, son, Richard Hannon, great grandchild, David Cobb and two brothers.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dorothy Connor; sons, Steve Connor and wife, Karen, Bill Connor and wife, Karen; daughter, Jean Sciacca; step-sons, Brian Hannon and wife, Mary Jo and Kevin Hannon and wife, Noreen; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and four sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church with Father Lawrence LoMonoco officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Columbarium at the church.
