William "Bill" Boyette Jr.

He was born on July 18, 1932 to the late William D. Boyette and Nellie Helms Boyette in Mecklenburg County. William was the Owner and Operator of Catawba Valley Duplicating\Split Second Printing. He was also a proud United States Air Force Veteran.

Along with his parents, his wife, Mary Hudson Boyette; son, Cecil Paul Boyette; sister, Virginia Piper and two brothers, Billy and Thomas Boyette, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughters, Donna Bumgarner and husband Kenneth of Hildebran, Karen Lail and husband Randy of Hickory; son, Gary Boyette and wife Ann of Tampa, FL; five grandchildren, Aaron Bumgarner, Abby Willis, William Lail, Joshua Boyette, Shannon Duckworth; seven great grandchildren, Charlotte Bumgarner, Wyatt Michaud, Hunter Michaud, Maddox Lail, Kaysen Lail, Lexie Boyette, and Gabby Boyette.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. at the church. Rev. Bill Sturm and Shannon Greene will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. The American Legion Post 544 will provide military honors.
