Dear Virgil and Diane,
   Greetings and best wishes for many years to come.  Perhaps you will remember my husband and me at the Huntington Beach office.  You were such an encouragement to those of us who worked there.  You are in pictures I have greeting us at our 50th wedding anniversary in August 1997.  I'm praying for you, Virgil especially as I have received word that you are now dealing with cancer.  May the Lord's healing Hand rest upon your.  My husband, Roy, has now been with the Lord more than seven years, but the Lord is Good and continues to bless.

Dear Virgil and Diane,
 
We have been friends since High School Days.  We had such a marvelous church and Pastors.  The Lord was so real and close to all of us.  Then there were the days at CBC.
 
I cannot remember your wedding, so probably wasn't there, but you were at our wedding, 1962.  There are many things I can't remember.
 
The tent meeting in Delphi was a great experience and fellowship.  I think Glen and Dorothy Johnson were with us too.  No great revival of souls but it paved the way for A/G ministry in the future.  A good name, legacy, and reputation goes on and on.
 
We went different ways for quite a few years only bumping in to each other occasionally  You were in Bolivia, then California, we were in South Dakota and finally to Elkhart. 
 
You arranged some very good times to get the old group together.  Especially we remember the Queen Anne's Inn where we were so roudy we almost got kicked out.  What great memories we have with you.  We enjoyed fellowship with you in Orlando too.
 
Well, have a super celebration.  50 years.  But don't have a singer sing a song like we heard tell of when a couple celebrated their 50th.  The singer sang "Wasted years, oh how foolish".  Remember when Esther sang to me at our wedding, "I'd Rather have Jesus..."

Hello Aunt Diane and Uncle Virgil,

Thoughts from the Ring Bearer: I remember being down on the farm before the wedding running around the yard. Auntie Diane was so happy and she chased me around playing tag and hide and seek. When we were in the house I recall sitting with her on the sofa and she held me close. She was laughing and giggling. I think it was the first time anyone other then my mother had held me that close. I don't remember much of the wedding but I guess I was there because of the pictures. I think that this was the only time I was ever in a wedding as a ring bearer. I am so proud to have you both as apart of my Godly heritage. Thank you for such a wonderful testimony by living out the marriage covenant the way it has been intended, a life long commitment, for better or worse for richer or poorer. May the Lord continue you bless you both and may the legacy of a life lived well be a joy to all who celebrate with you.   Where are you going for your next honeymoon? Blessings
