Born in Catawba County on February 11, 1955, he was the son of Mary Herman Bowman and the late James Wesley Bowman.
His mother Mary Bowman of the home, his daughter Kasey Goode and her husband Chase of Vale; his son Stephen Wesley Bowman, Jr. of Conover; grandchildren Mason Goode, Haven Goode, Seth Bowman, and Ryland Bowman, sisters, Cathy Davis and husband Eddie of Cherryville, Priscilla Duncan and her late husband John; and numerous nieces and nephews survive him,
The family will receive friends November 1, 2023 from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at Hickory Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held November 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Daniel Parker and Rev. Tom Church will officiate the service.
Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
