Sarah Elizabeth Warlick

SARAH C. WARLICK HICKORY – Sarah C. Warlick (Sarah Elizabeth Canupp), 75 of Hickory, NC, passed away on July 30, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Mrs. Warlick was born December 29, 1939 in Granite Falls, NC to the late Luther Canupp and Corrinne Turnmyre Canupp. She was a loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Faye Craig, Kathryn Whisnant, Harry Teague, and Ramona Wilson. Left to cherish her memory are; her husband of 34 years, Robert Warlick; her brother, Johnny Canupp; her daughters, Deborah Lynne Smith, Mary Beth Sollid, and Scottie Smith Scripter; her stepsons, Joe Warlick and Tim Warlick; her grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Zachary, and Austin; and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 2 at Catawba Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Phillip Reynolds officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 12:30 to 2 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Humane Society of Catawba County.
