Sandra Jo Short, 79, of Hickory, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2023 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. Sandra was born on April 5, 1944 in Logan, WV to the late Joseph Allen and Marie Montgomery.
She was retired from Ryder Truck Rentals.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 60 years Elbert Short, son Donald Short and wife Jennifer, daughter Robin Marie Short Doyle, sister Cynthia Lou Meers, three grandchildren; Evan Short, Hunter Short, Katie Doyle and two great grandchildren; Sinclair Doyle and Janson Short.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10:00 until 12:00 noon at Drum Funeral Home in Hickory.
