Samuel “Lee” Allen, Jr., 69 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2025, at his residence.
Born on May 4th, 1955, in Lincoln County, NC, Samuel was the son of the late Samuel Allen, Sr. and Betty Mauney Allen. Lee was loved and so misunderstood. He is with God.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Dale Allen.
Those left to cherish his memory include, his son, Michael Lee Allen and wife; his sisters, Vickie Gilbert and husband, Betty Gail Smith and Lisa Ann Bailey, and his brother, Charlie and wife.
There will be no services scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hickory Soup Kitchen in Sam’s name.
