Ruby "Fran" Frances Rockett

HICKORY— Ruby “Fran” Frances Rockett, 70, of Hickory passed away at Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Carolina Caring after a brief illness. Born in Catawba County on April 18, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Clinton Alva and Ruby Lail Rockett. Fran was a graduate of Lenoir Rhyne College, she worked at First National Bank, and at Jerry McIntosh accounting. She had recently retired from Shurtape, after 40 years of service. Fran was also a member of Fairgrove Methodist Church. She is survived by her sister Mickie Pope and husband Bob of Hickory; brother Larry Rockett and wife Martha of Hickory; nephews, Bobby Pope and wife Elizabeth of Hilton Head, SC, Wes Pope and wife Beth of Hickory, Scott Rockett of Maiden and Ashton Rockett of Concord. A private graveside service was held Monday, February 04, 2019 with burial at Catawba Memorial Park with Reverend Earnest Richards officiating.
