Roger Dale Drum

He was born in Catawba County on May 4, 1944, to the late Harry Rockett and Hazel Bowman Drum.

Roger was a long-time faithful member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and was retired Vice President of manufacturing at Sherrills Furniture.

In addition to his parents, his wife Rita Miller Drum, and his brother Larry T. Drum preceded him in death.

His daughter Robyn Boleman and husband Tommy of Hickory; grandson Joshua Wong-Boleman and wife Brittany of Maine; his sister Jean Sigmon of Halifax; his brother Mike Drum and wife Terry of Taylorsville; sister-in-law Jackie Drum of Hickory and a number of nieces and nephews survive him.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at St. Stephens Lutheran Church Mo-Synod.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Stephens Lutheran Church Mo-Synod with Pastor David Ziehr, Pastor Shea Pennington, and Vicar Daniel Brummet officiating.

Burial will follow in church cemetery.
