Mr. Robert Horace Stevens

Robert was born February 11th, 1930 in Catawba County to the late Ted Stephens and the late Mandy Hudson Whitener.

Robert was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He was a Korean War US Air Force Veteran and was a mechanic on B-36 airplanes, he was also a Mason and a member of the Cookesville Masonic Lodge # 502.

A special thank you to the Staff of Brian Center in Viewmont and especially the employees of 400 hall.

Surviving are his wife; Sue Propst Stevens of Hickory and a son; Bruce Stevens and special friend, Tina Cline of Hickory and a neighbor and lifetime friend; Alfred Asherbraner of Hickory.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 11th, 2010 at 4:30 P.M. at Corinth Baptist Church in Vale with the Reverend William Kanupp and Reverend Harold Whitener officiating

Military Honors will be rendered by American Legion Post #48.
