Robert Neal Jennings, 92, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on May 21, 2022 at Trinity Village in Hickory, NC. Born October 22, 1929 in Lawrence County, TN, he was the son of the late William Nathaniel Jennings and Minnie Lurlene Gallaher Jennings. Neal was a graduate of the University of Georgia and worked as a Registered Pharmacist for 50 years. He was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Huntsville, AL.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Taylor Jennings; his second wife, Virginia Walker Jennings; daughter, Sharon Leigh Jennings; brothers, Kenneth Eugene Jennings, and Karon Ray Jennings; and sisters, Estella Hollis Methvin and Jenell Hollis Burks.
Neal is survived by his wife, Mollie Ann Hendrix Jennings of Huntsville, AL; sons, Robert Neal Jennings, Jr. (Katherine), of San Diego, CA and William Andrew Jennings (Teresa) of Hickory, NC; daughters, Elaine Werner (Joe) of Franklin, TN, Lynn Lewis (Tommy) of Pinson, AL and Janet Davis (Matt) of Huntsville, AL; brothers, William Hugo Jennings of Burlington, NC and Harold Lavon Jennings of Reidsville, NC; grandchildren, Christine Lucus (Robert), Taylor Jennings, Meredith Jennings, Bethany Jennings, Erica Jennings, Davis Jennings, Christopher Jennings, Kate Beidleman (Matt), Nolen Werner, Ashley Wood (Daniel), Will Lewis (Alexandra), Mary Davis and Ben Davis; great-grandchildren, Robert, Carson and Jasper Lucus, Avery and Thomas Wood, Liam and Amelia Lewis.
