Robert Galen Davis

Robert “Galen” Davis, 64, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson after a long period of declining health. Born December 20, 1960 in Hickory, he was the son of Loretta Seabock Kuhn and the late Albert W. Davis.

A former long distance truck driver, he will be missed, especially by his mom who depended on him for everything.

In addition to his dad, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adrian and Edna Seabock and Earnest and Lena Davis; step- dad, Philip Kuhn; uncles, Adrian Seabock, Jr. and Ray Davis; and aunt, Isleen Dellinger.

In addition to his mother, Galen is survived by his son, Robert Tyler Davis (Kristen); brother, Darrell Lynn Davis; grandchildren, Abigail Davis, Matthew Davis and Jonathan Davis; niece, Halee Davis and daughter, Magnolia; nephew, Caleb Davis (Paris) and children, Raine and Ace; uncles, Lynn Seabock and Ralph Davis; aunt, Jewell Bollinger; ex-wife, Kim Davis; special friend, Michael Keller and a number of cousins.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory. Pastor Bill Millinor will officiate.
