GRANITE FALLS- Rex G. Brooks, 72 of Granite Falls passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at Frye Regional Hospital.
Rex was born July 25, 1942 in Johnson County, TN to the late Paul Rutter and Flora Brooks Rutter. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Morgan W. Brooks and Lucy Ritchie Brooks and numerous aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Heavner Brooks of the home; 2 sisters, Irene Cross and Hattie Lauter; uncle Harold McMillan; nephews William Brooks, George Brooks, and Steven Brooks; nieces Debbie Webb, Brenda Thomas, and Diana Houk; children Donna Spicer, Mark Bess and Randy Bess; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
