Randy Lee Starnes

He was born on December 23, 1967 to Larry W. Starnes Sr. and the late Lou Ella Dellinger in Iredell County. Randy was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a free spirit and will be greatly missed.

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Amos and Margaret Starnes; his maternal grandparents, Ruth and Romey Keller; sister, Christie Starnes; and step-father, Johnny Dellinger.

Survivors include his father, Larry W. Starnes Sr. and step -mother, Dallas of Stony Point; brothers, Larry W. Starnes Jr. and Sherry Baxley of Conover, Jason Morrow of Claremont; sisters, Mitzi Fortner and fiancé Adrain Palmer of Claremont, Sabrina Anderson and husband Joel of Stony Point; step-brother, Johnny Dellinger of Conover; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Ernie Richards will officiate the service.
