Phyllis C Seale

Phyllis Canipe Seale, age 74, passed away Tuesday, November 01, 2016 at Catawba Regional Hospice in Newton. Born April 15, 1942 in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Ruby Canipe Odom. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Icenhour. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy D. Seale of Hickory, NC; daughter, Lisa Leigh Seale of Columbia, SC; son, Jason Seale and wife, Becky of Hickory, NC; granddaughter, Mattie Seale of Hickory, NC; brothers, Jerry Icenhour and wife, Lori, Terry Odom and wife, Kathy; and sister in law, Karen Icenhour. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, in Hickory, with Rev. David Guelzow and Rev. David Ziehr officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the church.
