She was born on September 9, 1933 to the late Milton Wellington Ziegler and Dorothy Rebecca Naggeneast Ziegler in Montgomery County, PA. Phyllis was a member of New Life Authentic Christian Community. She loved her church, where she was more commonly known as “Mom”, helping those in need, and selflessly sacrificing to provide the best she could for her children. She had a servant’s heart and was filled with wisdom. Phyllis will be dearly missed by her family, church family, and friends.
Along with her parents, her husband, Robert Quackenbos Sr.; son, Robert Quackenbos Jr.; and five siblings preceded her in death.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Faith Parker and husband Jerry, Rebecca Estelle and husband Terry; sons, Daniel Quackenbos and wife Angela, Timothy Quackenbos and wife Radica, Gary Quackenbos and wife Vicky, David Quackenbos and wife Debbie; 32 grandchildren; 102 great grandchildren; 38 great-great grandchildren; and four siblings.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Authentic Christian Community. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Pastor Chris Gruver and Steve Clark will officiate the service.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Catawba Memorial Park.
