Peggy Rae Bolick, age 83 of Hidebran went home to the Lord on Friday, March 11, 2016. She was born on September 1, 1932 in Hickory to Clyde and Virginia Abernathy Ennis and lived in the area her entire life. Peggy was married Ned Bolick, Sr. and together they raised three children.
Peggy was a NASCAR fan and loved watching the races on TV. She loved animals and was especially fond of dogs.
Peggy is survived by her children, Ned Moses Bolick, Jr. of Vale, North Carolina, Terry Bolick and girlfriend Cathy ,Teresa Leger and husband Dennis of Connelly Springs and 7 grandchildren.
Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ned Moses Bolick, Sr.
Funeral services for Peggy will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Catawba Funeral Home in Hickory. A committal service will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
