Paul Dean Childers

CLAREMONT – Paul Dean Childers, 73 of Claremont went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2024 at his home.

Born on November 27, 1951 in Alexander County, to the late Garwood and Betty Hendren Childers. Paul was a veteran of US Marine Corps and he ran his own business, Childers Auto Trim for 34 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter; Denna Childers; son, Trace Childers; and grandparents, Bertha and Roy Hendren.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Travis Dean Childers and wife Jackie, Michelle Childers and husband Jose Andrade; grandchildren, Tristian Childers, Jacinda Childers, TJ Childers, Trinity Childers, Mashay Childers, Carlie Childers; great-grandchildren, Daylon, Jaythan, Stevie, Kaybree, Jade; siblings, Woody Childers and wife Gail, David Childers and wife Rehonda, Donald Childers and wife Barbara, sister, Tina Childers; and nieces, nephews and other family members.

Services will be private.
