MORGANTON – Patricia Louise Williams, 80 of Morganton went home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2024.
Patricia was born on July 1, 1943 in Tampa FL to the late John J. and Louise Ridenour Higgins. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. Patricia was an RN who loved taking care of people for many years. She loved her animals and spending her retirement in FL and NC. Patricia was strong in her Catholic faith, she loved life and will be missed by many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Herndon, and a brother, Jackie Higgins.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Marvin Williams; children, Steven Herndon, Patrick Jernigan, Susan Clark, Scott Jernigan; grandchildren, Alan Herndon, Joylynn Thompson, Piper Jernigan, Kaley Anderson, Zoie Anderson, Hayden Komonczi, Douglas Jernigan, Fredrick Jernigan, Gracie Jernigan; 5 great-grandchildren; and a number of other family members.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday. January 30, 2024 at 1 PM at Catawba Memorial Park with Vicar Rebecca Foster officiating. Entombment will follow.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 PM – 12:45 at Catawba Funeral Home.
