Patricia Jane (Cadle) Phillips

She was born on July 15, 1938 to the late James B. Cadle and Ella Hardin Cadle in St. Albans, WV. Patricia was a member of Viewmont Baptist Church. A few of her hobbies included reading, sewing and quilting. Patricia dedicated close to 30 years of service to teaching children, a passion she took with great pride. She was a cancer survivor, patient, kind, and always willing to help others, no matter the need. Patricia was a devoted Christian, her faith in Christ stood strong. She loved her family fiercely, never letting a moment pass to let them know how much they were loved. Her kind soul and caring heart will be greatly missed.

Along with her parents, her brother, Otho Cadle preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Fredrick Phillips of the home; daughter, Michelle Phillips of Hickory; sons, Joel Phillips of Asheville, Timothy Phillips of Hickory; grandchildren, Christian Phillips and wife Theresa of VA, Zachary Leonard and wife Eva Clauss of Cornelius; great grandchild, Blaise Phillips; and sister-in-law, Janice Phillips.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Viewmont Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church. Dr. Andrew Rawls will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
