Nathaniel Cole Bolick

Nathaniel "Nate" Cole Bolick, age 19, of Taylorsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC., from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born May 4, 1995 in Catawba County, NC, he was the son of Matt Monroe Bolick and Tracy Dawn Richards Bolick.

Nate was a 2013 graduate of Alexander Central High School where he received the future business leader scholarship. He was attending CVCC, majoring in Business Management, and was working at Lowes Foods in Bethlehem as an assistant grocery manager. Nate enjoyed golf, shooting pool and disc golf, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and girlfriend.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Richards.

In addition to his parents, Nate is survived by his sister, Chelsea Nash and husband, Mike of Hickory; his girlfriend, Kora Towbin of Hickory; maternal grandmother, Jenette Richards; paternal grandparents, Ned and Janice Bolick; nieces Allie and Audrey Nash; nephew, Charlie Nash; aunts and uncles, Kim Sigmon, Elaine Whitlock and husband, John, Sheila Hefner, Jenny Rowe and Steven Gouge, Amy Kotner and husband, Tony, Ray Richards and wife, Darlene, Scott Richards and wife, Annette; and numerous cousins, whom he loved.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church in Hickory, NC, with Rev. Paul Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nathaniel "Nate" Bolick Scholarship Fund for Lowes Employees, c/o SECU, 2875 16th Street NE, Hickory, NC 28601.

Pallbearers will be Casey Rowe, Tyler Reitzel, Alex Sigmon, Tyler Billington, Tanner Kitchings, Scott Schwinning, Katie Baker and Savannah Hines.
