Nancy Louise Huffman

Nancy was born March 25th, 1922 in Anderson, SC to the late James Thomas Gray and Emma Clair Dickinson.

She was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church Mo- Synod, American Legion Ladies auxiliary, Post 48 La Femes, a volunteer at Frye Regional Medical Center, and a retired cutter from Sherrill Furniture.

Surviving is her husband, Arthur Fredrick (Boone) Huffman of Hickory, daughter, Nancy Carole Huffman of Hickory, son, Jerry Alan Huffman of Conover. Grandsons, Chad Carpenter and wife DJ of Hickory, Ashley Carpenter and wife Kristi of Hickory, and, Marc Huffman of Alpharetta Ga. Great grandchildren, Morgan Carpenter, Stephen Carpenter, and Gary Hoopingarner all of Hickory.

A funeral service will be held Monday, May 30th 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Stephens Lutheran Church with the Reverend David Zeihr officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 29th 2011 from 7:00 – 8:30 PM at Hickory Funeral Home.
