Mohamed Munir Khan

Hickory – Mohamed Munir Khan, 71 of Hickory passed away on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024 at his residence.

Born on November 2nd, 1952 in Guyana, he was the son of the late Muzasar and Jamilla Khatoon Khan.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Bibi Amelia; brother, Safik Khan.

Those left to cherish his memory include, his wife of 47 years, Romanie Naraidu Khan; a son, Terry Khan; daughter in law, Christiana; grandchildren, Sarah, Jeremiah and Nehemiah; as well as siblings, Shymin, Amir and Mary.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Sunday, September 1st, 2024 at 10:00 am with Pastor Andrew Binda officiating. Entombment will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude children’s hospital in Mohamed M. Khan’s name.
