Mary Emma Heavner Shook

Mary was born on June 29, 1931 in Catawba County, NC. She was the daughter of the James Aldophus and Nannie Belle Carpenter Heavner. She was a member of Crowell Memorial United Methodist Church in Lincoln County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband of 26 years, Lee Foy Finger and her 2nd husband of 17 years, Carol Shook; a daughter, Denise Calloway; and thirteen brothers and sisters.

Survivors include; daughter, Pam (Burl) Canipe; grandchildren, Lisa Penelly, Jeremy Shook, Amanda Reinhardt, April McCoy and April Venning; great grandchild, Casey Baulcom.

Graveside service will be held at 11am Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Catawba Memorial Park with Reverend Jim Pritchard officiating.
