Mary Sue Barger Bolick

TAYLORSVILLE---Mary Sue Barger Bolick, 93 passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 11, 1923 in Catawba County to the late Ellis Lafayette and Mary Agnes Townsend Barger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Kent Bolick Sr.; her son Floyd Kent Bolick Jr. ; son-in-law Wayne Carpenter; brothers John Barger and Ralph Barger; sisters Ruth Starnes, Lois Simmons, Beulah Cline, Margaret Hefner and Helen Propst. She is survived by her daughters Carolyn Carpenter of Taylorsville and Doris Wilson and husband John of Taylorsville; daughter -in-law Alma H. Bolick of Taylorsville; brothers Claude Barger of Hildebran and George Barger and wife Peggy of Wilmington; sister Edith Icard of Hickory; grandchildren Tamera Bowman and husband Terry, Teresa Joplin and husband Dwight, Vicki Hollar and husband Scott, Johnny Wilson and Jimmy Wilson; 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Neita Holden and Becky Reid for their loving care. Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Reverend Mike Stone officiating. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 4:00pm at Mt. Pisgah Lutheran Church. The family will fellowship after the service. Memorials may be made to Mt.
