Marvene Curtis

She was born on November 20, 1941 to the late Kathryn Holman in Caldwell County. Marvene was a Godly woman and loved her family dearly.

Her husband, Jacob Curtis preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Lynn Rogers (Buck) of Icard, Amy Teague (Nelson) of Hickory, Renee Detter of SC; son, Tony Curtis of Hickory; grandchildren, Mandy Crooks, Lyndsey Watson, Allegra Lynch; great grandchildren, Landon, Tristian, Carsyn, Caroline, Arya; brother, Dean Holman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 3:00 pm. at Gateway Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 pm at the church. Pastor Jerome Walker will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Springs Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
