Louise Killian Huffman

CONOVER---Louise Killian Huffman, 84, passed away October 29, 2014 at Trinity Ridge. Louise was born May 5, 1930 in Catawba Co. to the late Gordon & Lottie Shook Killian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Elmore Huffman; son, Keith Huffman; brothers, Ray Killian and Bryce Killian and a sister, Jolene VanHorn. She was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Mo Synod and retired from Conover Glove.

Surviving are her sons; Mark Huffman and Todd Huffman both of Conover; sister, Donna Bowman and husband, Gary of Hickory; grandson, Cody Huffman and granddaughter, Shelbie Huffman both of Claremont. Services will be Friday, Oct. 31, at 2:00 P. M. at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Mo Synod with Rev. David Ziehr officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home. Condolences may be made online at www.hickorfh.com.
