Linda Worsham Hofeldt

Linda Amelia Worsham Hofeldt, born December 31, 1956, in Guilford County, NC, went to her eternal home on Thursday, August 21, 2014. She is the daughter of Harriett Crutchfield Worsham and the late William Woodson Worsham.

Linda was a member of Waypoint Church in Longview and was a homemaker and beloved mother and friend. Her strong faith through a long battle with cancer is an inspiration to many.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 28 years, John Henry Hofeldt of the home; sons Jonathan Paul Hofeldt of Hickory and David Zachary Hofeldt of Catawba; daughter, Laura Amelia Hofeldt of Hickory; brother, Woody Worsham and wife Karen of Mt View; and niece and nephew, Catherine Wade, and husband, Andrew, of Mebane, NC.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Harvest Bible Chapel, 909 US Hwy 70, SW, Hickory, with Rev. John Powell and Rev. Kurtis Massey officiating. A private burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Monday, August 25, 2014.

The family will receive friends at the church following the memorial service.
