Larry Randolph Sprouse Sr.

Larry Randolph Sprouse, Sr., 87, passed away on Sunday , April 13, 2025, at Trinity Village in Hickory. He was born in Catawba County to the late Clyde Govan Sprouse and Mary Lou Workman Sprouse. He is also preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Gail Sprouse and two sisters, Regina Drum and Gail Starnes.

Larry was retired from Hancock and Moore. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where he was active in the choir.

He is survived by his son Larry Randolph Sprouse, Jr. and wife Linda, daughter Dawn Elizabeth Chapman and husband Rick, two brothers; Dexter Sprouse and Rick Sprouse, three sisters; Nina Smith, Connie Finger and Faye Suggs, grandchildren; Jason Sprouse, Ashley Douglas, Corey Wiles, Lauren Sheets, great grandchildren; Nolan Sprouse, Julian Sprouse, Morgan Douglas and Zara Sheets.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Christopher Webb and Hannah Norem officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 547 6th St. NW, Hickory, NC 28601.
