Mr. Pegram was born in Lancaster County, SC to Linda Darnell Blackmon Pegram of Lancaster and late Billy Ray Pegram. In addition he is preceded in death by his father in law Z.L. Hammond and mother in law Doris Hammond and his sister in law Sharon Stalls.
He was a cost accountant for Hickory Springs for 33 years and also a member of Highland Baptist Church where he was a very active member where he served as deacon, Awana and puppet ministry. He was an avid Gamecock fan and loved watching Gamecock football with his family.
Ken was a loving Christian, son, brother, husband & father. He cherished his wife of 33 years and son Daniel. He loved to coach his sister, Tammy and his son in sports. He also loved his nephew Josh. He was looking forward to the birth of his great niece in November. He also enjoyed traveling with his family.
Ken is survived by his mother Linda Pegram of Lancaster SC, his wife Pamela Renee Hammond Pegram of the home, son Daniel Pegram and girlfriend Dove Stair of Hickory, sister Tammy Parris and husband Nick of Lancaster, SC, nephews Josh Parris and Brianna, Garth and Zachary Stalls.
Funeral services for Mr. Pegram will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 7th 2020 at Highland Baptist Church with the Reverend Charlie Sisti, Reverend Kenny Robison and Reverend Ryan Flynt officiating the services. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory, NC.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Drum Funeral Home in Hickory, NC.
