Mrs. Kathy Marie Beard Ihrie

Kathy was born October 19, 1957 in Catawba Co. to Mary Queen Sipe and the late Jerry Beard.

She was also preceded in death by her step father, Otis Sipe.

She was of the Christian faith.

Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Marie Ihrie Robinson and husband, Andrew of Hickory, sons, Sean Stephen Ihrie and William Paul Ihrie, III of Newton, mother, Mary Queen Sipe of Newton, granddaughter, Peyton Marie Robinson of Hickory, William Paul Ihrie, II loving father of her children, fiancee, Michael Starnes of Newton, sister, Sharon Haas of Hickory, brother, Tim Beard and wife Linda of Claremont, half brother, Shawn Beard of MD. and a half sister, Kim Sanders of MD..

Services will be Friday, October, 22, 2010 at 2:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Emily Hartner officiating.

Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 until 1:45 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home.
