Kathleen B. Wooten

Kathleen was born December 15, 1929 in Alexander Co. to the late McRee L. and Grace Honeycutt Bowman.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William E. Wooten.

She was a member of First Church of God and retired from Van Guard Furniture.

Surviving are a daughter: Penny Chapman of Claremont, sons: Herman Fox and wife, Evelyn of Bethlehem, Harley E. Fox and wife Ollene of Bethlehem, Ricky Fox of Morganton and Randall Fox of the home, sisters: Mary Ruth Little of Taylorsville, Ruby Warren of Bethlehem and Rachel Church of Hickory, brothers: Paul Bowman and George Bowman both of Bethlehem, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Services will be Sunday, January 2, 2011, at 1:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Michael Hone officiating.

Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 11:00 A.M. – 12:45 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home.
