Judy Elaine Smith Reeves

Judy was born March 1, 1947 in Catawba Co. to the late Maurice Paul Smith, Jr. and Lucille Bollinger Smith Fox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Baker, a sister, Phyllis Owens and two brothers, Wayne Smith and Leon Fox.

She was a member of Joy Baptist Church and worked many years for Highland House Furniture.

Surviving are her son, Joel Hinson of Granite Falls; a sister, Judy Flynn and husband, Harry of Taylorsville; brothers, Larry Smith and wife, Kathy of Creston , Dennis Fox of Hickory, Richard Fox and wife, Brenda of Hickory and Gary Fox and wife, Debbie of Hickory; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, August2, at 2:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Shook officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:45 – 1:45 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home.

At other times the family will be at the residence of Dennis Fox.
