JEANNA WARD RITTER Hickory- Jeanna Ward Ritter, 69 of Hickory went home to be with her LORD on May 11, 2017. Born on November 17, 1947 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late James Ward and Lula Watts Ward, she was a loving daughter, wife and devoted mother. Jeanna retired from Catawba Valley Medical Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paul Ritter and her son, Marty Graham and one brother, John Alvin Ward. Survivors include one sister, Mary Barnes and one brother, Henry Ward and wife Lib and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 3PM at Catawba Funerals & Cremations with Rev. Mark Schmitz officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 – 2:45 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to East Hickory Church, 130 – 16th.
