Janice Sigmon Bolick

HICKORY---Janice Ruth Sigmon Bolick, 74 passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at Frye Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health. She was born in Catawba County to the late Floyd B. and Virginia Spencer Sigmon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson Nate Bolick; her brothers David Sigmon and Dwayne Sigmon. She was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church Mo-Synod for many years; a graduate of St. Stephen’s High School, class of 1959; she was also Plant Manager of Thomasville Furniture. She is survived by her husband Ned Bolick of the home, her daughters Jennifer Rowe and fiancé Steven Gouge of Newton, Amy Kotner and husband Tony of Murrieta, CA; a son Matthew Bolick and wife Tracy of Bethlehem; granddaughters Jessy Mills and Chelsea Nash; grandsons Josh Mauney, Casey Rowe, and Andrew Gouge; six great-grandchildren; sisters Doretta Sigmon, Lydia Mathis and Karen Shade, Anna Rudisill and a brother Allen Sigmon. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Stephens Lutheran Church Mo-Synod with Pastor David W. Ziehr and Pastor Dave Guelzow officiating.
