Irene was born July 31, 1928 in Cocke County, TN and was the daughter of the late Edgar Webb and Ellen Elizabeth Sutton Webb. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 40 years, Morris Ray Huffman; son, Marvin Ray Huffman; brother, Jay Webb; sisters, Marie Williamson, and Glenda Sigmon.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Christopher Keith Huffman (Diane), Larry Wayne Huffman (Regina), and Lester Alan Huffman; grandchildren, Chris, Ray, Mark, Gwen, Leslie and Alan Jr. Huffman; nine great grandchildren; sister, Marion Bates.
A funeral service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 1pm with Reverend Mark Seaman. Burial to follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 to 12:45pm prior to the service.
