HOWARD EARNEST MITCHELL Jr. Conover- Howard E. Mitchell Jr., 42, passed away on July 27, 2015. Born on October 25, 1972, in Welch, WV to Patsy Breeden Mitchell and the late Howard E. Mitchell Sr., He was a loving and caring son, husband, and father who was committed to his family. He loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing and four wheeling. He worked at 3M for almost 20 years. Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Michelle Tallent Mitchell; children, Brandon Tallent and fiancée Masha Hamby and Joshua Tallent; sisters, Samantha Shoun and husband Barry, Jenny Johnson and companion Kenny Sanford Jr.; brother, Christopher Mitchell and wife Samantha; mother and father-in- law, Becky and Roger Carrier, sister-in-law, Jacque Rudisill; niece and nephews, Layla Mitchell, Thomas Shoun, and Robert Johnson Jr.; uncle and aunt, Rick and Maxine Johnson; little buddy, Chance Carter; and loving furbaby Cocoa. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 3pm at Catawba Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to say a special thank you to Tina Watts and Dr. Franklin McGuire.
