Howard Joseph Hefferan

TAYLORSVILLE---Howard Joseph Hefferan, 77, passed away June 8, 2015 at his residence.Howard was born April 16, 1938 in Brooklyn, N. Y. to the late Howard F. and Josephine Delouker Hefferan. Howard was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from Long Island Railroad. He attended Our Savior Lutheran Church for 25 years..Surviving is his wife, Anita Margaret Hefferan; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Valentine Engesser of Patchogue, NY and nephews, Garry and Robert Engesser. Services will be Thursday, June 11, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Justin Kane officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors conducted by American Legion Post #48.The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 10, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home.Memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2160 35th.
