HICKORY – Homer Lee (Bud) Huffman Jr., 77 of Hickory passed away on August 24, 2021.
Born on March 16, 1944 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Homer L Huffman Sr. and Lena Huffman. Bud was a veteran of the US Marine Corp.
Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Lillian Huffman; sister, Norma Laws and husband Toby, nieces, Debbie Laws, Susie Sigmon; and stepchildren, Beverly Clark, Teresia Odle, Nancy Painter, John Free.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 2 PM at St. Stephens Lutheran Church with Rev. David Ziehr and Vicar Jacob Childers officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 PM -1:45 PM.
The family requests that everyone wear masks.
