HICKORY – Helen Louise Huffman, 85 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on November 23, 2021.
She was born on October 17, 1936 in Letcher County, KY to the late Worley and Janie Hawks Davis. Helen was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was of the Lutheran faith. Helen enjoyed painting, singing, and playing the guitar with her daughters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers, 1 sister, nephew, Joshua Hollar, and a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Hollar.
Survivors include her daughters, Jeannie Mabe and husband Brian of Maiden, Kathy Fox and husband Mike of Hudson, Donna Hollar of Hudson, Cynthia Sain and husband Luke of Hickory; grandchildren, Greg Fox, Kelly Hadley, Cierra Sain, Stephanie Delp, Jessica Snow, Melissa Craig, Christina Lawson, Sam Mabe, Josh Mabe; numerous great-grandchildren and other family members.
Services will be private.
