Harlene Killian Sigmon

Claremont – Harlene Killian Sigmon, 85 of Claremont went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 30th, 2023 at Carolina Caring surrounded by her family.

Born on June 27th, 1938 in Catawba County, NC, Harlene was the daughter of the late Sterling and Olive Hunt Killian.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Gerald (Jerry) Franklin Sigmon.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her daughter, Julia Sigmon Graham, and grandson, David (D.J.) Jerald McBee, and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Friday, January 5th, 2024 at 11:00 am with Pastor Charles Kyker officiating. She will be laid to rest at Catawba Memorial Park after the service.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring at 3975 Robinson Rd, Newton, NC 28658 in Harlene’s name.
