Frank Nolan Cook

HICKORY – Frank Nolan Cook, 84 of Hickory went home to be with his Lord on September 23, 2022.

Frank was born on February 4, 1938 in Swain County, to the late Claude and Laura Jenkins Cook. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him. Frank enjoyed sitting on the front porch, watching sports on TV and listening to gospel music with his wife. He was a dedicated employee at MDI for 37 years.

He was preceded in death by 1 sister and 3 brothers.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 60 years, Joan “Susie” Cook; children, Lori Meadows and husband Craig, Jeff Cook, Suzanne Thomas and husband Jamie; grandchildren, Whitnie Beasley and husband Chris, Allen Ward, Jackson Bradley, Shelbi Meadows and fiancé Landon Russ; great-grandchildren, Asher Ward, Brynley and Benjamin Beasley; siblings, Reese Cook, Doyle Cook; and a number of nieces and nephews.
