Frances Louise Scronce

Hickory – Frances “Louise” Scronce, 80 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Frye Regional Medical Center.

Born on December 28, 1941 in Haywood County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Glenn Green and Wilena Fish Green.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Camellia Evon Scronce.

Louise is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bobby Junior Scronce; a son, Jeffrey Allen Scronce (Vickie) of Connelly Springs, NC; a granddaughter, Lisa Nicole Scronce and a grandson, Jacob Matthew Scronce; a sister, Janet McNeely of Hickory.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Paul Deal officiating. Burial will follow the service at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church Senior Stars in Louise’s name.
