Frances (Davis) Bolton

Born in Cherokee County on August 23, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Mary Allen Davis.

In addition to her parents her sisters Ella Smith, Elza Bates, Virtle Teal and Bernice Munday and her brother Dallas Davis, preceded her in death.

Her husband of 62 years, Danny Bolton Sr. of the home, daughters Denise Weeks (Vic) of Hickory, Teresa Frye (Todd) of Claremont, and Marian Bumgarner (Tim) of Conover; sons Danny Bolton Jr. (LaDonna) of Taylorsville and Chad Bolton (Juanita) of Conover; grandchildren Dr. Blake Weeks (Kristina), Marie Moretz (Kyle), Derick Frye (Alicia), Sierra Bolton, Ethan Bolton (Amber), Logan Bumgarner (Amy Gilbert), Cadyn Bolton and Sebrina Bolton survive her. Great grandchildren Karigan Moretz, Elijah Weeks, Kadence Moretz, Jaxen Johnson, Charlotte Weeks, Kassidy Moretz, Noah Weeks, Nolan Frye and Kambree Moretz also survive her.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at Springs Road Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Springs Road Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Blake Weeks, Derick Frye, Ethan Bolton, Logan Bumgarner, Cadyn Bolton and Kyle Moretz.
