Ernest "Ernie" Lee Hinson

Born in Catawba County, on September 21, 1970, he as the son of the late Ernest “Buck” and Sue Wilkie Hinson.

In addition to his parents, a brother Doug Bailey preceded him in death.

Cheryl Varnadoe of the home; daughters Jessica Hinson of Hickory and Sophie Hinson of the home; granddaughter Analina Frye of Washington; sister Libby Workman and husband David of Vale; brother Todd Bailey and wife Debbie of Icard; nephews David Workman Jr. and wife Tia of Vale and Greg Bailey and wife Kari of Hickory; niece Heather Straight and husband Phillip of Hickory; aunt Tyma Kilgore of Hickory; great nieces and nephews survive him.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11:00 am at Wilkies Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Thurman Roe, Reverend David Workman Jr. and Reverend Dennis Pitts officiating.

Burial will follow in church cemetery.
