Doris Bane Phillips

Doris Bane Evans Phillips went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of September 29th, 2024. She was a resident of Trinity Ridge Senior Care since September 8, 2013. She was born September 9, 1925 in Asheville, NC. Doris had a strong love and faith in God.

Those left with many memories include daughter, Jan Evans Vierra and son in law Jeff Vierra, sister Maxine Loftis, grandchild Patrick Robbins, great grandchildren, Alexis Robbins, Avery Robbins, and Taylor Robbins.

She was the daughter of Gladys Bane Gragg and Lloyd Bane of Asheville, NC. Doris worked in the textile industry in Asheville and Hickory in earlier years. She was married to Robert H. Evans, Jr. of Asheville and later married to Carl Phillips of Brevard, NC.

Doris was a long-time member of Faith Tabernacle in Asheville, NC.

A special heartfelt gratitude of thanks goes out to Carolina Caring Hospice and Trinity Ridge Senior Care. This is for those that loved, nurtured, prayed, and cared for Doris during the eleven years while residing at Trinity Ridge.

A private service took place at Catawba Memorial Cemetery on October 2, 2024 with family members.
