Mr. Emery was born in Muskegan, MI to the late Ernest Emery and Ellen Lundborg Emery.
He was previously employed as an engineer with the government.
Mr. Emery is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ruth Weber Emery; sons, Daniel Emery and Tim Kools; daughters, Karen Yingling, Kathy Zook, Cheryl Lien and Debra McAllister and many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private service for Mr. Emery will be held at a later date.
