Hickory – Connie Christina Robinette, 64 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
Born on January 22, 1958 in Catawba County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Elizabeth Matthews Robinette. Connie always had sparkling eyes, a great big smile and a loud giggle. She loved baby animals, especially kittens. She loved to color and play cards. When you came to visit her, you better have Sundrops!
Those left to cherish her memory include, an uncle, Babe Ruth Matthews and wife, Delma; an aunt, Clara Matthews; 12 cousins, Cilla, Susan, Cathy, Chuck, Vickie, Sarah, Becky, Harry, Ethel, Phillip, Angie, and Barbara, as well as, numerous 2nd cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Catawba Memorial Park at 11:00 am with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior’s Project in Connie’s name.
