Chue Ntsum Xwm Yaaj (Ntsum Xwm Yaaj) Yang

Warner, OK –Chue Yang (Ntsum Xwm Yaaj) 59, of Warner, OK, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017, at Duke Hospital. Born on August 8, 1958 in Laos, he was the son of the late Nyiaj Kua Yaj and Yeeb Tsab. Chue was a member of the 1st Hmong Alliance Church in Hickory. He was also the first Hmong to move to Hickory in 1987. Mr. Yang is survived by his wife of 40 years, May Kha Yang; sons, Chee Nu Yang and wife Gina, Meng Sa Yang and wife Meena Vang; daughters, Gee Ia Yang and husband Tswvnyaj Her, Nancy Yang and husband Thone Phomphackdy, Doua Yang and husband Da Thao, Gao Yang; brothers, Txus Yaj; and 23 grandchildren. Visitation and Services will be held Friday and Saturday May 5 and 6, 2017 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm and on Sunday May 7, 2017 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Catawba Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations Hickory, NC.
