Vale – Charles Wayne Robinson, 85 of Vale, NC went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born on September 22, 1935 in Sullivan County, TN, He was the son of the late James Kenneth and Nannie Collette Robinson. He was a 20 year Air force veteran and served 3 tours in Vietnam. Charles was also retired from Joan Fabric.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a sister, Virginia Rhea and 2 brothers, Darryl Robinson and Elbert Robinson.
Survivors include, his wife of 41 years, Frances Robinson of the home; a brother, Jerry Robinson of Kingman, AZ and a sister, Carolyn Phillips of Granite Falls, NC and 7 children as well as, 27 grand and great grandchildren combined.
A Graveside Service will be held at Catawba Memorial Park with full military honors. Pastor Gary Fulker will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
